Universal Studios™ Orlando and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ wrap up the school year in style when they host Gradventure 2027- an end-of-year celebration JUST for middle school students! Both parks are open for students to have the times of their lives!
What is Gradventure 2027?
Universal Studios™ Orlando invites middle school student groups from across the country to an unforgettable late-night party at Universal Studios™ Orlando. It features today’s hottest music throughout the parks, tons of dancing, and high-energy coasters. Students also get exclusive access to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, exciting rides and attractions, and mouthwatering munchies.
Students can hop safely between the parks via dedicated crossings as their exciting night unfolds.
What are the 2027 dates?

May 7, May 14, May 20 and May 27 from 7:00 PM until Midnight
Who can attend?
Students and chaperones of the attending middle school are welcome to attend. Outside guests are not permitted.
Is it safe?
All participants are required to go through an extensive security check that includes metal detectors and bag/pocket checks.
Alcohol, illegal drugs, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and tobacco items, weapons, chains, spiked collars, belts, or any accessories that may be used as weapons are not allowed.
Extra security is visible throughout the events.
What do we wear?
Comfort is king for a night of fun! Comfortable t-shirts and button-downs are perfect for guys and dresses and shorts mid-thigh shorts and dresses for girls. Comfortable shoes (no water shoes) are a must as well.
Universal Orlando™ strongly recommends that students wear matching, brightly colored shirts with their school names clearly identified.
What about chaperones?
Gradventure chaperones are treated as VIPs with special extras like a Universal Express Pass to skip the regular ride lines. They also have access to chaperone-only lounges for breaks, snacks, and drinks.
Where can we stay?
Staying on property maximizes your Gradventure experience. Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal’s Aventura Hotel, or Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites are all just minutes away from the parks and CityWalk™.

What about late arrivals or early departures?
Gradventure is a special after-hours school event with a strict ‘lockdown’ policy, so students and chaperones must arrive as a group and stay until the event ends.
School responsibilities or family obligations may require a student to arrive late or leave early. Check with the head chaperone AND the Gradventure team to determine permission.

Are meals included with admission?
Gradventure admission does not automatically include meals. However, students will have access to a variety of dining locations and snack options throughout the parks. Meal vouchers and dining packages may be available for groups.
Can students ride all attractions during Gradventure?
Most major attractions in Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ are open during the event. Attraction availability is subject to operational and weather conditions.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation options vary by school and travel package. Kaleidoscope Adventures can arrange motorcoach transportation, hotel accommodations, and complete trip planning services for your group.
What happens if it rains?
Gradventure takes place rain or shine. Many attractions, shows, restaurants, and indoor experiences remain open during inclement weather. Students should consider bringing a lightweight poncho if rain is in the forecast.
Are students allowed to bring bags into the parks?
Yes, students may bring small bags, but all bags are subject to security screening upon entry. Certain attractions may require bags to be stored in complimentary lockers before boarding.
How many chaperones are required?
Chaperone requirements are established by Universal Orlando Resort and may vary by group size. Schools should review current guidelines when making reservations and determine any additional supervision requirements.
Can parents attend with their student?
Only approved school groups, students, and registered chaperones may attend Gradventure. Parents who wish to participate must be registered through the school’s group and meet all event requirements.
When should schools reserve their date?
As early as possible. Gradventure dates are popular and frequently sell out. Schools that reserve early typically have the best selection of event dates, hotels, and transportation options.
