Mardi Gras World

If your group is looking for a true New Orleans experience, Mardi Gras World is a must do.  Go behind the scenes to watch the legendary floats being built year-round, learn the history of Mardi Gras, meet the artists or try the famous King Cake.

Cajun Pride Swamp Tours

This privately-owned wildlife refuge is a just a quick drive from New Orleans.  Cajun Pride, Swamp Tours will take you on an educational journey through the Louisiana Bayou and its history through swamp eco-tours and plantation tours.

National WWII Museum

The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world.  Student groups (all groups) will be inspired by the stories, exhibits and shows that are part of this national treasure.

Steamboat Natchez

The Steamboat Natchez is a delightful, two-hour trip on the mighty Mississippi that allows student groups to study the history, ecology and economy of the region.  Don’t miss the boat on a good time!

Day 1:     

Arrive in New Orleans and meet your “full-scope” tour director, a seasoned pro who will handle the details of your trip.  You’re off to a busy start as you visit the Audobon Zoo and Aquarium of the Americas, one of New Orlean’s top attractions. Then shop and snack your way through the Outlet Collection at Riverwalk.  Finally, dine at the Creole Cookery for an authentic taste of New Orleans before checking in at the hotel.


Day 2:     

Today is about the energy and excitement of the Big Easy!  Begin with breakfast at the hotel (included) before joining a tour of this charming city.  Then see how the magic is made at Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World with mask makingMeals are on your own today as you explore.  Pending availability, your group can then perform dockside as guests board their riverboat cruises.  You’ll join the fun on the Steamboat Natchez Cruise!


Day 3:     

Cajun culture rules after a hearty breakfast at the hotel (included).  Jump on a Swamp Boat Tour to sneak a peek at some ‘gators, then visit the Global Wildlife Center to get up close and personal with the animals.  Lunch is on your own, but dinner is a Cajun treat at Mulate’s with authentic live Cajun music and dancing!


Day 4:     

Begin your last day with breakfast (included) and a French Quarter Walking Tour.  Stops include the famous French Quarter, Jackson Square, Cabildo, St. Louis Cathedral and the Mississippi River.  Take time to shop, explore and grab some lunch (on your own) before visiting the National WWII Museum with a 4D show.  Dinner is included before departing for home.
