Charlotte Student Trip
Charlotte is truly a dynamic destination for a class trip. It’s warm, welcoming and packed with exciting attractions, historical sites, museums, NASCAR racing and sports venues.
Charlotte Highlights
Carowinds
If you want the thrill of performing in front of the masses, Carowinds is ready to welcome you! Band, choral and orchestra students have access to unique, on-site venues and nationally known adjudicators when they perform in the Festival of Music. Of course, students will love spending time in the park as well.
Biltmore Estate
Explore the magnificent country estate of George and Edith Vanderbilt. Built in 1889, the estate is an exquisite nod to the French Renaissance style. It boasts 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces in a space more than four acres large. It’s an incredible nod to the wealthy and elegant of the time. Students will love scouting the home and grounds, which are available for touring, hiking, riding and more.
Charlotte Motor Speedway
Get your motor running at the Charlotte Motor Speedway where you can tour the track, go behind the scenes or participate in STEM programs designed to challenge and engage. Students will love the pulsing energy and excitement of a professional speedway!
