Over the past 20 years we have fine-tuned the process of student and group travel. One of the most common questions we are asked is “What’s included on a student group trip?”

The possibilities are endless, but the following is a brief description of many options we offer on our tours.

Transportation

Motorcoaches: Most of our tours typically travel by motorcoach. We contract with highly reputable motorcoach companies that provide our tours with dependable, late model coaches. Each coach has amenities including high-back reclining seats, A/C, on-board facilities, video screens and wide windows giving you the best possible view of the passing landscape.

Round-Trip Airfare: Some of our tours request round-trip airfare. We can offer flight arrangements that match your group’s preferred travel dates and guarantee your travel dates at the time of booking. These can be regularly scheduled flights or chartered services with major airlines (i.e. Southwest Airlines, Delta, United, etc.).

Vans/Mini-Buses: For smaller groups, we contract with bus companies that have dependable, late model mini buses or vans with comfortable seating and A/C (based on availability and area).

Accommodations

A good night’s sleep is important, so you and your students can count on clean hotels. We personally inspect every hotel to ensure it’s up to our standards. When your group chooses to stay in a hotel, each student participant will share a room with two or three other students of the same gender. The hotels we book for our groups contain indoor corridors, continental breakfasts and are centrally located in your destination to make sightseeing easy. We have buying power with major chain hotels including Choice Hotels, Marriott, Hilton, Drury and more. We always offer comfort and excellent value for our clients.

Theme Parks

We book some of the best theme parks throughout North America including the Disney parks, Universal parks, Six Flags parks, Sea World parks, Cedar Fair parks, plus more. Each park contains exciting amusement rides, attractions, entertainment and dining facilities. We want to make sure your group has an exciting and fun trip. Theme parks are a great way to ensure this.

Attractions

From fun parks to miniature golf, aquariums to zoos, planetariums to botanic gardens, the list of attractions is endless. Kaleidoscope Adventures will book your group into any attraction your group would like to visit in any of our 40+ destinations. Attractions are a great way to guarantee your group has fun!

Water Activities

Student groups love to include water parks or water activities on their trip. Water parks feature water slides, splash pads, lazy rivers, spraygrounds, and other swimming activities. Most recently, some water parks have even built surfing and bodyboarding wave pools which add another dimension to the water park experience. Also, many student groups enjoy activities like water tubing on rivers and/or beach time. Our team at Kaleidoscope Adventures would be happy to recommend the best and most exciting water parks/water fun in any of our 40+ destinations.

Group Dining

Our groups normally start the day with a Continental breakfast including bread and rolls with butter and jam; juice, coffee, tea or cocoa, cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheese or breakfast meat and sometimes eggs and waffles. Many of our groups choose lunch on their own; although Kaleidoscope Adventures can pre-arrange lunches for any group. Dinner is usually pre-arranged by Kaleidoscope Adventures. We typically choose student-friendly restaurants ranging from buffets to themed restaurants. We also can provide menu options that are indicative to the regional cuisine as well.

Dinner Shows/Theatres

Combining a dinner with a staged play or musical, dinner shows are a favorite among student groups. We have group dining arrangements with the best dinner shows in North America including Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Arabian Nights, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and Murder Mystery Dinner Shows, to name a few.

Museums

When traveling to any of the 40+ destinations we service, we always suggest visiting museums to our groups. Museums house collections of artifacts and other objects of importance. Educationally, museums are a wonderful way for your group to experience the history of America, science theories and the artistic endeavors of professional artists.

Historical Sites/Memorials/Monuments

Historical sites/Memorials/Monuments open doors into the past so that your group will more fully understand the world we live in today. They pique the imagination and stir the mind of student groups. Indians hunting in unspoiled forests, farmers toiling to make a living off the land, and soldiers and sailors fighting for independence and freedom are all examples of historical sites, memorials and monuments that student groups can experience.

Guided/Sightseeing Tours

In many of our 40+ destinations, there are options that include guided/sightseeing tours. These types of tours are conducted by a tour guide who provides educational information as well as cultural, historical and contemporary heritage interpretation of the venue, area, etc. Student groups looking for an additional educational experience should definitely consider guided and/or sightseeing tours.

Broadway/Theatres/Live Shows

Would your group like to see a Broadway Show? 39 different theaters make up Broadway in New York City alone! One of them has a show just for your group! Whether its musicals, revivals or first run, let the team at Kaleidoscope Adventures capitalize on our relationships with the theater community in securing the right seats at the right show for your group. We even book national tours of Broadway productions and live shows in other cities like Chicago, Toronto, plus more.

Entertainment/Arts/Fine Arts/Special Events

The team at Kaleidoscope Adventures is made up of former music directors, teachers, hotel industry experts and group travel professionals who know the best entertainment shows, events and concerts to attend. We will be able to guide you in the right direction with the purpose of meeting your curriculum objectives.
