
Let Kaleidoscope Adventures showcase your marching band to millions of people at a nationally televised bowl game. Half time bowl game events are a great way to give your students a lifetime of memories. We are excited to offer the following bowl game events:
Valero Alamo Bowl
Held in San Antonio, Texas, the Valero Alamo Bowl features a Big Ten vs. Big 12 matchup. The halftime bowl game performance will be held in the Alamo Dome where over 50,000 fans will be watching. Afterwards, your band will enjoy an awards ceremony, dinner and dance.
Champs Sports Bowl
Join us in sunny Orlando, where the Champs Sports Bowl features an ACC – Big 10 matchup. Your students will have a spectacular performance opportunity performing in the Champs Sports Bowl halftime show.
Festival participants will also have the opportunity to march in the Macy’s Parade at Universal Studios in Orlando. Directors: You must register early to obtain a spot in the parade.
Chick-fil-A Bowl
Formerly the Peach Bowl, the Georgia Dome Olympic Stadium is now home to the Chick-fil-A Bowl and features an ACC – SEC matchup. Your band will be among a 2,000 member massed band performing at halftime. As festival participants, you will be entertaining nearly 75,000 people in this colossal, indoor state of the art structure, which was home to the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and current home of the Atlanta Falcons. Plus, you will be performing in front of a nationally televised audience as well. Don’t miss out on this opportunity of performing in one of the premiere venues in the world.
Festival participants will also march in the National Chick-fil-A Bowl Parade in downtown Atlanta on New Year’s Eve. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. Traditionally, the Chick-fil-A Bowl hosts one of the largest massed band shows of all the college bowl games. An awards banquet and dance conclude the Festival.
Ticket City Bowl at the Cotton Bowl Stadium
Kick off your New Year by participating in the nationally televised Ticket City Bowl at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Broadcast by national television, your band will perform at the halftime show finale entertaining over 80,000 people in this stadium.
The Ticket City Bowl at the Cotton Bowl Stadium plays host to highly ranked teams from the nation’s premiere conferences, the Big 12 and the SEC.
Tax Slayer Gator Bowl
Held in Jacksonville Municipal Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, the excitement of the Big Ten vs. the SEC fills this stadium with over 70,000 fans. Your students will take the field for a halftime show finale that includes over 2,500 top marching band musicians, dancers, and cheerleaders. The Tax Slayer Gator Bowl brings together the best performers in America.
Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl
Join us in sunny San Diego, where the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl features a PAC 10 – Big 12 matchup. The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl gives students the opportunity to march in the nationally televised Big Bay Balloon Parade and perform with students from across the country during the exciting halftime show. The experience culminates with an awards ceremony and dance in Dolphin Stadium at Sea World. The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl is an experience your students will remember for a lifetime!
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Held in Memphis, Tennesee, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl is the seventh oldest bowl in the nation featuring a Conference USA – SEC matchup. The bowl game attracts over 50,000 fans and is nationally televised. You will also march in the parade down historic Beale Street. The game wraps up with an awards ceremony, dinner and dance.
Discover Orange Bowl
Join us in sunny South Florida (Miami area), where the Discover Orange Bowl is famous for a 75- year history and features an ACC – Big East matchup. Become a part of this storied history as you perform at the incredible mass-band halftime show. Other activities include a field show competition with a lineup of bands all vying to secure the right to perform their own show during the pre-game festivities as well as the Orange Bowl parade.
Outback Bowl
The Outback Bowl, one of the nation’s top rated college bowl games, is played in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on New Year’s Day and features a Big 10 – SEC matchup. This bowl game gives students an exciting opportunity to perform in a mass band halftime show to an audience of over 65,000 people as well as a national television audience.
Other activities include a field show band competition with the winner being featured as the pre-game entertainment, and participation in the Outback Bowl Parade in historic Ybor City. Over 50,000 spectators line the streets to watch your band perform in this parade. After the game, all festival participants head off to Busch Gardens for an awards ceremony, dinner and New Year’s Celebration in the park.
Allstate Sugar Bowl
The Allstate Sugar Bowl, held in New Orleans, LA, is the only BCS game where marching bands perform at halftime! This is a fantastic opportunity for any size marching band program that seeks to showcase their skills at the highest level. This nationally televised game features two of the top BCS contenders and gives students an exciting opportunity to perform in a mass band halftime show in the Louisiana Superdome in front of 75,000 fans!
Other activities include an optional field show competition, an awards presentation with dinner and dance, and an optional French Quarter bowl game performance opportunity.
