It Starts with a Hero
In storytelling, the concept of the hero’s journey is as old and treasured as our earliest myths and legends. It’s the basis of moviemaking, and in this program, created in partnership with Full Sail University your group will explore that journey, along with key components of scriptwriting including character framing and development, motivation, plot development, backstory, and more.
Food For Thought – A Taste of Careers in the Culinary Arts
Universal Orlando Resort’s executive chef team takes students behind the scenes to learn about every job in the culinary arts and every step of the food flow process including purchasing, receiving, preparation, and delivering food to guests.
Marketing and Sales
Getting the Message Out
The Marketing and Sales program teaches students about the effective marketing and sales campaigns created to promote Universal Orlando Resort™. Students learn about advertising, group sales, branding, marketing, and promotions. The program describes campaigns and marketing tactics for attractions such as The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man® and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, special events, and other marketing initiatives throughout the resort.
Planning for Nature
Meet with and learn from Orlando’s own WESH 2 meteorologist Amy Sweezey. In this unique live presentation, you’ll see what goes into understanding weather patterns and the impact they can have on theme park guests.
Non-marching groups can perform to crowds of delighted Universal visitors from one of the several stage locations in and around Universal Studios Florida™ or the covered Plaza Stage in the Universal CityWalk™ entertainment complex.

Sound Design: The Art of Foley
A once-in-a-lifetime band trip with a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity. Have your band or choir group experience what it’s like to be a working movie musician with Sound Design: Music and the Art of Foley workshop at Universal Orlando Resort™. Designed to reinforce National Standards for Music Education, this clinic turns your music group trip into a musical adventure in learning.
Dance is UNIVERSAL! A Workshop with the Professionals
In this workshop, students will learn what it’s like to have a professional career in dance. They’ll get tips for writing a winning resume and having a successful audition. And they’ll get to work on an original themed routine incorporating ballet, jazz and musical theatre all choreographed and taught by one of our very own highly trained professional choreographers and performers
Grad Bash: April 7, 21, 28 & 29, 2017 7PM – 2AM
Bring your high school graduating class to Grad Bash, an unforgettable night of fun and excitement at two amazing theme parks.
