Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Chicago, IL Known as Chicago’s largest parade, the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a huge part of this national Irish holiday. The parade is filled with thousands of marchers, colorful floats, marching bands, bagpipers, and hand-shaking politicians. Each year, millions of spectators view this parade either on the streets of Chicago or live on television. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of Chicago’s largest parade.
St. Patrick’s Festival Parade – Dublin, Ireland
Where better to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Parade than in Ireland itself! Bands from around the world march in this parade—and pass may historic sites cheering crowds along the way—as part of Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Festival. Bands are also adjudicated at this event and celebrated at a subsequent awards gala!
2014 marks the 190th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah, GA! It’s the second-largest parade in the world and a truly great way to commemorate this international holiday and the Irish heritage of Savannah, Georgia’s oldest city. Marching ensembles should apply early to participate in this popular event!
National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade – Washington, DC
One of Washington DC’s largest events, this parade features giant colorful balloons, marching bands and entertainers that will march down Constitution Avenue. Held in April, this spectacular event showcases entertainment seen only once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. This parade will also be televised live on CBS 9/WUSA-TV. Only 16 coveted spots are available to qualifying marching bands. Our team can assist you with your registration and audition requirements for entrance into this parade. Join us for the largest annual spectator event in the Nation’s Capitol.
This unique musical experience on the National Mall allows choirs the opportunity to perform their own concert and do community service projects. Your singers will love learning that they, along with hundreds of other young people who love music, have the power to make a difference by singing and serving. A Massed-Choir Finale Celebration will bring all the groups together to promote a positive image of American youth involved in public service and stimulate interest in choral music as an art form among young people. This amazing event will be held April 4-5, 2014.
Norfolk NATO Festival Parade of Nations – Norfolk, VA
The only parade in the United States to salute NATO, the Norfolk NATO Festival Parade of Nations will enter its 61st year in 2014! Your band or JROTC team could march alongside floats representing all 28 NATO member nations. There are also ample opportunities to experience corresponding events, such as NATOFest and the Virginia International Tattoo.

OrlandoFest at the Universal Orlando® Resort – Orlando, FL
OrlandoFest at Universal Orlando® Resort is Orlando’s newest and most exciting festival and is open to middle, junior high and high school concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching (parade) bands, orchestras, choirs and auxiliary units. Held at Universal Studios Orlando® in the spring, the festival includes a workshop with a nationally known panel of judges who provide you with positive feedback and an evaluation of each group. After each concert performance, a judging panel member will conduct a clinic with the intent of instructing each group to produce more effective results. After the workshop and performance, your group will have an option to go to Universal Studios Orlando® or Universal’s Islands of Adventure®. An awards ceremony will follow. Capitol Music Fest – Alexandria, VA
Capitol Music Fest is an adjudicated music festival and clinic for elementary, middle and high school bands, choirs and orchestras. The festival takes place annually in the spring, and hosts hundreds of student music ensembles from across the nation. The performance venues include the George Washington National Masonic Memorial in Alexandria, VA, located a few miles across the Potomac River from the heart of our nation’s capitol, Washington, DC!
Dixie Classic Festival – Multiple locations
Formed in 1983, the Dixie Classic Festivals are premier events open to all performance groups. Dixie Classic Festivals has designed an event that affords the very maximum in educational, social performance and quality of life benefits to all participants. Held in six destinations including Atlanta, Chicago, Chattanooga, Richmond, Washington DC and Williamsburg, the festival runs from March through May. There are no eligibility requirements for participation. Perform before a panel of distinguished adjudicators with a special private clinic held after your performance. Awards are presented in a non-competitive atmosphere where evaluations are based on a national rating standard of Superior, Excellent and Good.
Festival Disney – Orlando, FL
Festival Disney is both a positive and educational festival experience for talented middle, junior high and high school ensembles. Directors have the choice of competitive or non-competitive adjudication options. Festival Disney is open to concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching (parade) bands, orchestras, choral ensembles, show choirs and auxiliary units. Nationally renowned and experienced adjudicators provide detailed, positive feedback to all ensembles by means of written and recorded comments, as well as personalized feedback clinics following concert performances. The National Association for Music Education officially endorses Festival Disney because of its focus toward music education.

Music in the Parks combines unique performance opportunities with the excitement of amusement and theme parks in 43 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. They offer one and two day adjudication (competitive and rating only) festivals for Instrumental and Choral Ensembles. All performing groups receive a trophy and all students receive a souvenir.

Smoky Mountain Music Festival – Gatlinburg, TN
The Smoky Mountain Music Festival offers a quality, adjudicated, and competitive festival opportunity for Elementary, Middle, Junior High and Senior High School Choirs, Bands and Orchestras. The festival runs on weekends in April and May and is held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Southern Star Music Festival – Atlanta, GA
Open to Elementary, Middle, Junior High and Senior High Choirs, Bands and Jazz Bands, this festival is held at Six Flags over Georgia from March through May. Groups may enter for comments only or competition. Professional adjudicators are on a panel of three judges. After an awards ceremony, students may enjoy Six Flags over Georgia.
